The Poplar Creek Prairie Stewards are volunteers working with the Forest Preserve District of Cook County to restore native habitat in the Carl Hansen/Poplar Creek Forest Preserve and Schaumburg Road Grasslands, located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. We hold outdoor volunteer restoration workdays every weekend throughout the year, weather permitting, which are shown in the Upcoming Workdays calendar at right. Please join us!
