Workday Information

Today’s workday is cancelled

The December 28th workday at Carl Hansen Woods is cancelled. It’s raining and the NWS predicts 90+% chance of rain all this morning. The wind speed is too low to start brush brush piles until at least 10 am. Looking forward to seeing you at workdays in the New Year!

Our workdays are open to the public. All volunteers are required to sign a waiver form upon arrival at the workday. Please note that if you are under age 18 you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. According to Forest Preserve District rules, unaccompanied minors will not be permitted to participate in the workday.
